YHA Wanaka (project)

A proposed new 90-bed hostel designed to be read as a group of distinct buildings providing an appropriate residential scale. This is further emphasised by the use of different materials and colours common to the local vernacular tradition. The building incorporates a number of passive sustainable design features in line with YHA's commitment to Environmental Sustainable Design.
