The Sacred Heart Basilica has had a strong presence on the Timaru skyline since 1906. A project to strengthen and refurbish this unique building commenced in 2017 and was completed in August 2020. Care has been taken to preserve the very high quality original neoclassical interior. W+B provided both architectural design and heritage consultancy services for this project.
